What is Akda Award?

Akda (author) Award is an annual recognition given to the author of the outstanding paper published in the journal. This award aims to encourage publications of quality papers and recognize the hard work of the authors in publishing their researches.

ELIGIBILITY

All papers published from December of the previous year to September of the current year are eligible for the award. The award is given every December during the Luminary Awards.

CATEGORIES

a. Akda Award Readers' Choice - this award is given to the article with the highest number of citations, downloads, clicks and views. This is determined through Google Scholar citations, Google Analytics, website download counter and Bluehost Analytics.

b. Akda Award Editors' Choice - this award is given to the article chosen by a select panel of editors. An ad hoc selection committee is formed every year to choose the winner of the category.

PRIZES

Winners receive certificate of recognition and eligible for one free publication in any journal. In case of multiple authors, free publication is given to the lead author only.
