Maurice is currently and associate professor and the Director of the Office for Research and Publications at Calayan Educational Foundation Inc. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Research Forvm and chairman of the CEFI Research Ethics Committee. He displays a passion for providing in-depth knowledge through academic writing and demonstrates outstanding research skills. He had able to participate in various national and international research conferences, led many research forums, and attended training and seminars related to research. He made a huge difference in research writing in CEFI that brought most of the studies of the school to known publications and research conventions.

He has published several papers that are relevant and timely to the various situations of Filipinos around the world. With his expertise and passion for research, he was able to inspire students within the campus which led most of the researchers in CEFI to various research platforms in local, national, and international conferences. He opened the doors for numerous researchers to publish their own studies in various journals which gave the students the opportunity to reach their audience. If this person can do a huge contribution to the said institution, there is no doubt that he can also bring a major impact to the community.
