Inspirational Success Story:

John Marvin D. Renacido has remarkable, engaging, and impacting accomplishments in intra- and extra-curricular activities in school and the community, particularly in the promotion of inclusivity among his peers deserve to be recognized. He excels as an outstanding student awardee in academics, sports, and journalism during high school, graduating as among the top students of his batch. His scholarly prowess rose to the next level as he continues to be on the Dean’s List of the College of Teacher Education as he pursues his college degree today. Currently, he maintains excellent performances in his academic studies, more particularly he is proving his worth as among the Ten Outstanding Students of the Aklan State University (TOSA) topnotcher in last year’s search and recipient of the Incentive Award as an ASUian who embodies academic excellence, promotes social progress, and exemplifies leadership standards in the university, and the community at large. He, too, is a student leader par excellence. As a representative of his program in the Young Educators’ Society – the college’s highest governing body of education students, he leads as a prominent voice that echoes on the halls inside the campus. He simultaneously serves as the director for community affairs of the student publication and chairs the public relations unit of the campus-wide sports organization.
John Marvin does multi-tasking in extracurricular activities, yet, he manages his time well. He has a flair for managing stage shows being the assistant stage manager of the college’s theater guild, as well as the story-writer of the college’s creative artists organization.
He also has a knack for writing. He is an enlisted member of the Junior Editorial Board of the International Student Research Review (ISRR) of the Institute of Industry and Academic Research Incorporated (IIARI). He is an advocate of development and responsible journalism being one of the student journalists of their college’s student publication. As such, he walked with his group in conducting seminar workshops for aspiring high school student writers in public and private secondary schools in the province.
Likewise, his book chapter articles are up for inclusion in the upcoming publications of IIARI, “The Other Side of Men”, and in the IGI Global books, “Impacts of AI on Students and Teachers in Education 5.0” and “Advancing Sustainable Goals with Educational Technology”. His influence on his peers redounds to coming up with research studies that are technically prepared to qualify for research congresses and publications. Because of this innate gift, his works and outputs are recognized in local and regional writing contests and press conferences.
Furthermore, he loves serving people no matter their ideology and orientation. Proof of this is his untiring support and active involvement as a volunteer in the campus’ Red Cross Youth, and the LGBTQ community. His musical dexterity reverberates in the halls of the campus and the community church ministry. He is a sportsman who reigns supreme in individual and team sports. He, too, shines as a cultural bearer who graces the stage in style having represented his college and won them awards. Indeed, he is a well-rounded leader to look up to as he always gives his best shots in whatever event he participates in.

His pursuit of inclusivity has resulted in his being the leading advocate in instilling the value of love and respect for individual differences and upholding the practice of ethics for responsible journalism to aspiring high school writers in neighboring secondary schools through the conduct of free seminars and workshops.

His compassionate approach to sharing his God-given talents and skills with his peers and among the youth in the community is inspiring and worthy of emulation. He has no qualms of selfishness in showing kindness to his groups and fellow students. He considers what he does as a mission and enjoys the company of people he has touched.
