Mr. Kenn Migan Vincent C. Gumonan is a full-time faculty member in the College of Computer Studies at Cebu Institute of Technology University, teaching both undergraduate and graduate programs. He previously served as the Department Chair of the College of Computer Studies at Northern Bukidnon State College. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) from STI College in Santa Rosa, Laguna, and his Master of Science in Information Technology, specializing in Management Information Systems, from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Additionally, he earned some units in Doctor in Information Technology at the University of Southeastern Philippines and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Management major in Leadership and Organization at Liceo de Cagayan University. He is a Game Design and Development scholar of DOST-ICTO at the University of the Philippines Diliman Information Technology Development Center (UPITDC). He is also a licensed professional teacher, a CSC Professional examination passer, and a DICT ICT Specialist in Computer Programming. He is a regular member of the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) and the Philippine Association for Teachers & Educators (PAFTE), as well as an associate member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP).

In addition to his academic career, he works as a freelance graphic artist, programmer, and project consultant. He is also the Project Manager for the startup Nimble Fintech Solutions Corporation. His research interests include technology in education, e-learning, assessment, programming, game development, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, Internet of Things, agriculture, and project management. He has led and participated in numerous government-funded research projects focusing on agriculture and the IP (Indigenous Peoples) communities. He won second place for Best Policy Making at the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture and Resources Research and Development (NOMCARRD) Policy Brief Seminar-Writeshop 2022. He has presented and published several research papers at reputable conferences and in academic journals. Furthermore, he serves as a technical committee member for various international conferences and journals, where his quality reviews earned him the title of Most Outstanding Reviewer for 2023 from the International Journal of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (IJSTEM). He is an advocate speaker for Information Communication Technology (ICT) literacy, fundamentals of cyber security, financial literacy, career planning, and founder of Banuwa Active Involvement (BAI), a group that empowers the Indigenous People’s community through outreach programs.
