Dr. John Mark R. Asio is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master in Public Administration (MPA) at President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU), and a Doctor in Public Administration (DPA) at La Consolacion University, Philippines (LCUP). He also took up some Professional Education (Prof Ed) Units as well as Social Studies major subjects and currently taking up his second doctorate degree in Education (PhD in Education major in Educational Leadership and Management). He is currently designated as the Research Director of Gordon College, Olongapo City, Philippines under the Research Development and Community Extension Services Office of the institution and currently ranked as Assistant Professor 2. He previously held other positions in the same institution like Research Coordinator of the College of Education, Arts and Sciences, as well as the Coordinator of the Social Sciences and Philosophy Department.
He is also a Registered Nurse, a Registered Midwife, a Civil Service Eligible Professional, and a Licensed Professional Teacher. At the same time, he also had several certifications aimed in enhancing his skills for Data and Statistical Analysis as well as his research expertise in the field from organizations providing continuous professional and skills development. He has produced and presented several multidisciplinary research articles in the local, regional, national, and international journals, fora, conventions, and conferences which were peer-reviewed, refereed, and reputable.
