Professional Background
Dr. Aldrin C. Agasen is an Associate Professor at the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management, National University Manila, Philippines. He earned his Doctor in Business Administration from the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST). With extensive experience spanning the hospitality industry and more than a decade in higher education, he has established expertise in tourism and hospitality education, academic quality assurance, and research. He plays a vital role in institutional and college quality assurance by supporting academic audits, program accreditation, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. He also serves as a member of the National University Institutional Ethics Review Committee (IERC), contributing to the ethical conduct of research. Furthermore, he is an accredited individual proponent of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and a Certified Hospitality Practitioner (CHP). His scholarly work has been published in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his commitment to advancing evidence-based practices in tourism and hospitality. As an educator and researcher, he advocates for transformative learning and sustainable industry practices, firmly believing that quality service begins with quality education.
