Dr. Dana is both an academic and industry expert. She is an associate professor in the Finance and Banking Sciences department of Applied Science Private University in Jordan. She also worked as financial analyst and trading inspector in the Jordan’s Capital Market. Her knowledge and skills were products of her aligned completed programmes in Banking and Finance in the Undergraduate, Masters and PhD. In all her academic programmes, she had earned accolades as a top achiever in her class. As such, she was able to supervised more than 60 projects in the different undergraduate finance fields.
She had published numerous research papers in international journals which were focused on external financing, modelling and estimation of volatility in stock market, institutional ownership and firm performance and corporate credit rating. She also presented accounting papers in international conferences held in Vienna, France, Italy and England. Her research interests include risk management, institutional ownership, application of ARCH /GARCH models, application of Neural Networks in financial studies, prediction of financial models, international finance and financial crises and behavioral finance.
