Dr. Amado Magsino is the current Vice President for Academic Affairs of the International Peace Leadership College in the Philippines. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Management degree from Colegio de San Juan de Letran. He assumed several administrative positions in various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines for more than two decades.
His leadership was not confined within the walls of HEIs. In fact, he is a well-known founder of several notable national and international organizations and associations of HEIs in Southeast Asia. He is a President Emeritus of the Council of Deans and Educators of Business in Region IV-A (CODEB4A), Executive Director of the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) where he was once president during SY 2011-2012 and now back again as PCDEB president for the second term after ten years, Immediate Past President of the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB), where he used to be the president during SYs 2013-2015 and SYs 2018-2021.
Passage to ASEAN (P2A) Philippines was organized through his initiative with no less than 15 schools as founding members. P2A is an association of colleges and universities ASEAN wide, primarily organized for student mobility across ASEAN member schools. He is one of the five- member P2A Executive Committee running the affairs of the Association, represented by Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, and Philippines.
