Dr. Messeret Assefa Woldemichael is an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Addis Ababa University’s College of Education and Behavioral Studies. He is the author of the book Sex: Untold Stories.

With extensive administrative experience, Dr. Woldemichael has held leadership roles including Director of Harar Teacher Training Institute, Dean of Students and Director of Research and Publication at Nazareth Technical College, Associate Dean at Addis Ababa University’s College of Education, and Cross-Border Dean at JIGDAN College and New Global College. He has also served as President of Bright College. Additionally, he is a member of three Copernicus-, Scopus-, and indexed refereed journal editorial boards.

Since his promotion to Associate Professor, Dr. Woldemichael has actively contributed to academic affairs at Addis Ababa University, serving as chairperson and member of eight university committees. He has made significant contributions to teacher licensure, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and research, both locally and internationally, with continued efforts toward productivity and academic excellence.
