Dr. Nicholas has led the College of Criminal Justice Education at STI West Negros University as Dean for 16 years, cultivating a legacy of academic and professional excellence. His leadership has trained numerous professional criminologists and has guided faculty members into leadership roles, many of whom are now deans at other institutions nationwide. Under his mentorship, former students have also risen to prominent leadership roles within the Philippine National Police, exemplifying his impact on both academic and professional realms.
Recently, his pivotal role in securing PACUCOA Level III accreditation for the B.S. Criminology program at STI West Negros University will lead to the program being awarded by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) as the first Criminology program to achieve Level III Reaccredited Status in Region VI. Additionally, his work in policy-making and operational development, particularly as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, includes authoring university policies and guidelines and developing critical operational manuals, showcasing his dedication to academic excellence and institutional progress.
