Dr. Tengku is currently a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Mara Cawangan Pahang, Malaysia for the past 23 years. She achieved great heights in teaching and learning in the year 2022 when she was awarded excellent award for teaching and learning from bronze medalist in 2018. She has several copyrights of innovation for teaching and learning, 6 of which are from 2022 alone. She was awarded the Malaysian national service award 2021 yet she continues to produce exemplary and outstanding achievements as she qualifies for the university Social Science Exemplary Award. With her achievements and recognitions, she was promoted to Associate Professor.

She received teaching evaluation of 97% from all students and peers. As an innovative teacher, she obtained 6 copyrights in 2022 on Easy English Tenses apps, POCKET RESUME VIDEO apps, ELLENA RPG apps, TWEETBE – technical English theme-based website for STEM, WAY TO ACADEMIC WRITING website, GATEWAY ENGLISH website. She received RM113,014.32 grant for 2022 alone. In order to share her expertise, she accepts speaking engagements in 5 international events in the year 2022, initiates the signing of MoA and MoU for international research in teaching and learning collaboration, conducts international collaborative teaching and reviews papers for publications.
