Emmanuel Onsay
Emmanuel A. Onsay (E-boy) is a Certified Public Accountant, economist, instructor, extensionist, and researcher at Partido State University, Goa, Camarines Sur. He is also a freelance statistician, data analyst, econometrician, and accounting specialist.
In 2022, he successfully completed the Master in Applied Economics (MAECON) at De La Salle University (DLSU) School of Economics. He graduated with 5 publications, 4 awards and recognitions, 7 research presentations, and 6 research papers. He is a recipient of CHED SIKAP scholarship and St. Marry Mutien Scholarship grant.
In 2021, he also successfully finished an international exchange program, the Sakura Science Exchange Program of Japan Science and Technology Agency and Kochi University Japan. 高知大学のさくら科学プログラム
In ParSU Parangal, he was awarded University Presidential Citations for Research and Competitive Graduate Studies. He also received 2 Kilyab Awards for research, publication awards and citation awards. He also bagged various best paper awards in different conferences. He is the first grand winner of IIARI International Research Competition in 2021. In 2023, he became the youngest recipient of the Outstanding Faculty Award of Partido State University.
Currently, he is the Director of the Center for Partido Economics, Partido Institute of Economics at Partido State University and a student of Doctor of Philosophy by Research in Data Science (Analytics) and Informatics at the University of the Philippines Los Baños Graduate School.
His research interest and specialization lie in data science (analytics) and informatics, applications of machine learning and artificial neural networks on economics, poverty economics, public economics, econometrics, impact evaluation, environmental economics, financial accounting, and crop accounting.
