Jahfet is currently Instructor 1 and chairperson of the Quality Assurance Unit at the College of Teacher Education, Aklan State University, Banga, Aklan, Philippines. His personality speaks well about who he is. As a man of honor, his innate prowess is not limited to sharing what he knows but goes out of his way to innovate the unknown to be known. He has a penchant for doing beyond the expectations for the good of the people he deals with. He never falters in his kindness, and never quits finding ways until he gets what puzzles everyone.

He is an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines Social Sciences Division. Being one is a dream great Filipino researchers aspire to be part of as it is one of the rarest and highest feather a researcher can reach to. He is also part of various professional research organizations in the country such as Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) Region VI Chapter – (Board Member), International Alliance of Mathematics Teachers Inc. (IAMTI) – (National Auditor/Officer), State Universities and Colleges Teacher Educators Association (SUCTEA), Philippine Statistical Association, Inc., Philippine Council of Mathematics Teacher Educators Inc. (MATHTED), among others. He has also published numerous papers in Scopus-indexed journals.

His achievements at his age now is one proof that age is not the gauge to be a well-known researcher. His gregariousness and his enthusiasm to help those who seek his expertise are qualities worthy of emulation.
