Oliver is currently a Secondary School Teacher III at Cabay National High School. He is also the Faculty Club President. As the school is situated in isolated area, most of the learners belong to indigent family. As such, he supports the programs helping learners through contextualized learning materials. He is the proponent of Mathematics intervention to make improve the numeracy skills of the students. He led in eliminating non-numerates before end of the school year. With his initiative, Cabay National High School has no record of non-numerates at the end of the school year. He is also active in research. In fact, he presented research outputs in the Division Level and District Level where he received Best Research Presenter award. He is also the adviser of INTERACT CLUB, a baby Rotary Organization in school which initiated the free distribution of school supplies to the three nearby elementary schools namely; Cabay Elementary School, San Juan Elementary School and Del Rosario Elementary School.
For his numerous accomplishments, he was awarded the Most Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 2019. With his outstanding feat, he is an inspiration and a living example that poverty is never a hindrance to success. Once a poor child like him, he was able to succeed as an educator. His character, attitude and behavior are the manifestations of the role model that could inspire learners, colleagues and the people of the community as well.
