Romel is currently a Head Teacher 1 at Aquino Elementary School. He is a very promising and active leader not only in his school but also in all areas of concern assigned in the district by the immediate supervisor. In a span of 3 years as Head teacher I, he was able to make a huge transformation in his station especially in the physical facilities of the school. Despite being the distant school in the district, as it located in the top most of the mountain in the municipality, he was able to motivate the teacher do their best in all their undertakings. He was able to maintain the teachers drive to teach their children despite long travel to school and was able to implement various programs for the benefits of the students.

As a head teacher, he was able to reap several awards such as Outstanding Teacher Awardee 2018 (District Level), Silver Medal of Merit Awardee of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines and 4th Best Implementer of School Based Feeding Program. He has been the district boy scout coordinator of Tiaong, Quezon for 8 years, adult adviser of BSP for 3 years, scout master of Tiaong and Scout Woodbage holder. During his term, he has fully implemented two (2) income generating projects to provide learners health kit and localized materials and school other operating expenses.

Despite of numerous ancillary services given to him, he can still manage to do his duties and responsibilities in managing the smooth operations of his school. He is willing to learn everything and he always give his full potentials as a leader.
