She finished her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree and Bachelor of Laws from San Pablo Colleges, Master of Arts in Teaching Social Sciences from Laguna State Polytechnic University, and Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Anthropology from Asian Social Institute. She has earned units in Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice Education and currently undertaking a Master of Science in Women Studies.
A former Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and guest faculty member of the LSPU Graduate Studies and Applied Research Department, she handles Social Sciences, Management, Law-Related Studies courses and former instructor of Target and Combat Shooting of College of Criminal Justice Education. She has co-authored a textbook in Values Education in 2012.
She has participated in various GAD training and workshops. This training built her capabilities to talk on GAD-related topics such as gender mainstreaming, gender analysis, gender-sensitive research, gender-responsive extension program, GAD planning and budgeting, GAD integration in the curriculum, and gender-fair language. Through her exposure in this training, she has been certified by the Philippine Commission on Women as a member of the National Gender Resource Pool.
Being an extensionist by heart, she is the proponent of various GAD Related extension services and proponent of:

She is the President of the Philippine Association of Gender and Development Inc. (Calabarzon) and President of the Association of GAD Educators, Inc. (National)
At present, she is the LSPU Director for Gender and Development, the LSPU Center for Human Rights Education and of CALABARZON Regional Migration Learning Resource Center, and the Founder of Gabay at Kalinga Foundation.
