Sahat is a volunteer English teacher at Lin Yah Sheng Foundation, a Health and Social Welfare Charity Foundation in Taichung City, Taiwan. He is also a foreign student at Yuan Ze University – Taiwan taking up Master in Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics.
As a volunteer, he teaches English to the disadvantaged and poor children. He also does social service for Global Culture Initiative (GCI) at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan in visiting schools in the rural are to promote the international education program for Taiwanese students. Social work is not new to him because he started as a local volunteer in International Humanity Foundation (IHF) Indonesia, Thailand and Kenya. With his dedication and hard work, he rose to various ranks as co-director (2015), director (2016) and executive director (2017) of IHF.
