Sibongamandla Silindokuhle Dlomo

Sibongamandla Silindokuhle Dlomo is a distinguished lecturer, published author, and researcher with a proven track record of academic and professional excellence. She is a published author of seven articles in DHET-accredited journals, showcasing her contributions to advancing knowledge in education and leadership. Sibongamandla is also the award-winning author of the acclaimed book “The Rose That Grew from the Concrete,” which earned her the prestigious Behind Awards 2024 accolade. Currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Zululand, she is deeply committed to scholarly research and transformative education.

Sibongamandla has extensive teaching experience, having served as a teacher for the Department of Basic Education in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, where she specialized in Mathematics, Technology, and Sciences across primary and secondary schools. Her dedication to education extends to her current role as a lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where she teaches modules such as Introduction to Educational Leadership and Management and Leading and Managing People in Education for BEd Honours students. Additionally, she supervises Honours students in their Independent Research Projects, nurturing their academic growth and leadership potential.
