Befekadu Teshome Yeshitila is an experienced researcher with over 23 years of expertise in scientific investigation, project coordination, and teaching. He holds an M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology and an M.A. in Project Management from Addis Ababa University, equipping him with a strong foundation in both scientific research and project management.
Currently, he serves as a Bacteriologist and Project Coordinator at the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, where he has led and contributed to numerous research projects, publishing findings in peer-reviewed international journals. His six years as the Bacteria and Fungus Biodiversity Case Team Coordinator involved spearheading biodiversity initiatives, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring project milestones were met.
His expertise lies in designing and executing research projects, analyzing data using SPSS, STATA, and R, and presenting findings to diverse audiences. Additionally, he has experience teaching Medical and Pharmaceutical Microbiology at academic institutions, further enhancing his ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to advancing knowledge, solving complex scientific problems, and contributing to impactful research.
