Professional Background

Dr. Say Wah Lee is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Economics at Universiti Malaya. She holds a PhD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, an MBA from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and a BBA from Universiti Malaya. Prior to joining academia, she gained experience working in several industries, including the automotive, manufacturing, agriculture, education and journalism. Having published in Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus-indexed journals, Dr Lee has amassed over 400 Google Scholar citations and an h-index of 5. Her research interests include consumer behaviour, brand communication, digital marketing, sustainable tourism, educational technology, and quantitative methodology. She currently serves as an associate editor for two international sustainability journals and has reviewed manuscripts for several Q1 WoS journals, including Scientific Reports, Telematics and Informatics, Cities, Marketing Intelligence and Planning, and others.
