Dr. Quintana is an Assistant Professor at City College of Calamba. He completed his baccalaureate degree in Nursing in 2007, receiving three academic awards: Best in Academics, Best in Clinical Area, and Best Undergraduate Thesis. He completed his Master of Arts in Nursing, major in Nursing Administration, minor in Maternal and Child Health as Cum Laude in 2011. He is a Registered Nurse in the Philippines and the United States of America in California.
He completed a Certificate in Teaching Proficiency, earning thirty-three (33) units of Professional Education courses. He finished his Doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2018 at the top of his class, earning a perfect score on his dissertation. He handles General and Social Sciences courses and a Research Course for the Collegiate Level while extending his network in Education and Nursing at different graduate schools, handling Educational Management and Leadership Courses, Advanced Methods of Research, Data Analysis, and Thesis Writing 1 and 2.
He has been an esteemed Program Accreditor for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing under the Association of Local Colleges and Universities- Commission on Accreditation (ALCU-COA) since 2018. He is also the Nursing Education Consultant of Canossa College San Pablo City Incorporated since 2021. He presented research in local, regional, national, and international fora and colloquiums, won as BEST PRESENTER in a Research and Statistics Forum organized by DOST and NEDA in 2016, and has local and international high-indexed publications.
He received the MOST DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI 2017 from his alma mater, STI-Colleges of Luzon Incorporated. He also won the Individual of the Year for 2019 as a champion for his HIV/AIDS advocacy at the National Level from the 2nd Ripple Awards organized by NGOs advocating for HIV/AIDS, the Department of Health, and the United Nations in Asia and the Pacific. He was the former Technology and transfer Unit Head under the Office of Research and Innovation and a past Vice President for Extension and Linkages at City College of Calamba: a public servant and a proud Filipino.
