Professional Background
Dr. Marilou Saong works as a full-time professor at the University of Baguio. She earned her BS in Chemical Engineering degree from Saint Louis University. She obtained her Master of Science in Mathematics as a CHED scholar at the University of the Philippines-Baguio and her PhD in Chemistry Education as a DOST-SEI scholar at the University of the Philippines Open University. She was the former head of the Physical Sciences department, the Research Anchorperson of the School of Natural Sciences, and the former Director of the Research and Development Center at the University of Baguio.
