Dr. Neha Jingala is an accomplished academic and media professional, presently serving as the Teacher-in-Charge and Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism at Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, University of Delhi. With over 15 years of academic experience and prior industry exposure in print and electronic media, including contributions to Doordarshan and national dailies, she brings a comprehensive perspective to media education. She holds an M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication and qualified the UGC-NET/JRF in 2012. Her research interests include New Media, Print Journalism, Women Empowerment, Dalit Discourse, and Film Studies. Dr. Jingala has presented papers at numerous national and international forums and has published widely in reputed journals. She is the editor of The Handbook of Digital Media & Journalism and Paradigm Shifts in Indian Cinema. She is also an active member of professional bodies such as Public Relations Society of India, and the Global Media Education Council.
