Dr. Rabel B. Catayoc is a seasoned educator, researcher, and development consultant with a strong academic and professional background in business administration and innovation. He holds a Doctor of Management (DM) and a Master in Business Management (MBM) from Capitol University, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Development Management (BSBA-HRDM) from the same institution. He further expanded his academic foundation internationally through various specialized certifications from Brigham Young University – Idaho, USA, including Social Media Marketing, Business Analysis, Computer Programming, Database Management, and Applied Technology.

Dr. Catayoc is a faculty member at the College of Economics, Business, and Accountancy (CEBA), under the Department of Business and Innovation (DBI) at Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), where he teaches business strategy, operations management, and research courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has over a decade of academic experience and is also actively involved in curriculum development for the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program. Professionally, he brings a diverse portfolio as a consultant in organizational development, digital marketing, and human resource management. He has guided multiple student theses to publication-level quality and has authored scholarly research on employee engagement, competency assessment, and sentiment analysis. His research interests span strategic human resource management, SME development, and digital transformation in emerging economies. Known for his interdisciplinary approach and commitment to applied learning, he continues to bridge theory and practice in both academic and industry contexts.
