Dr. Ramadan is an assistant professor of accounting at Almerqip University Alkhoms in Libya. He has been a lecturer in the undergraduate and graduate accounting programmes in various countries. He completed Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting at the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. His career switch from a bank manager to an accounting lecturer has been a fulfilling decision as he was able to nurture students with the skills and values for their future career.
His accounting expertise prompted him to write research on the different financial and non-financial factors of budgeting, behavioural aspects of rewards and budgetary slack. He has published a number of papers in international journals and presented papers in international conferences. He also published a book on cross-cultural impact on the budgeting cycle. He is very much fascinated on the cultural aspect of accounting.
