Richie Bayura

Dr. Richie G. Bayuran is a licensed and registered pharmacist and a dedicated educator with a Master of Science in Pharmacy and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management. He has been actively engaged in the academe for over 22 years, having served in several esteemed institutions, including Southwestern University (1 year), the University of San Agustin (10 years), and Saint Gabriel College, where he continues to serve at present.

Currently, Dr. Bayuran holds multiple key academic and administrative roles at Saint Gabriel College: Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Director of the Institutional Research and Development Office, and Officer-in-Charge of the Intellectual Property and Innovation Office. He also serves as a Technical Member of the Research Ethics Committee, contributing to the integrity and quality of institutional research practices.

With broad interdisciplinary expertise, Dr. Bayuran is a research consultant for projects in the allied health, medical, physical, and applied sciences. He is recognized as an institutional author of pharmaceutical laboratory workbooks, research guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Moreover, he actively contributes to the academic research community as a peer reviewer and editorial board member of various national and international research organizations.

An accomplished research presenter and published author of the various peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Bayuran has recently engaged in Scopus-indexed publication , further cementing his contribution to global scholarly discourse.

Dr. Bayuran is a TESDA-certified National Certificate III holder and accredited trainer for Pharmacy Services NC III. He serves as a professional course facilitator for the Diploma in Pharmacy Technology under the TESDA diploma program, contributing to the advancement of technical and vocational education in the pharmaceutical field.

He is an active member of the Western Visayas Health Research and Development Consortium of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), where he supports regional health research initiatives. In the professional sphere, he is a board member of the Philippine Pharmacists Association (Aklan Chapter) and has also held the national leadership position of Vice President for Visayas under the Young Pharmacists Group–Philippines, reflecting his commitment to the development and representation of young professionals in the pharmacy sector.
