Ms. Vi Briza E. Guarin is an experienced science educator with over 10 years of teaching in the fields of biology and earth science. She is currently taking her PhD degree, major in Science Education at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Mid-La Union Campus, San Fernando City, La Union and a Master’s degree in Education, major in Science Education at Pangasinan State University. She is passionate about fostering scientific curiosity and critical thinking in her students and believes in the power of learner centered education and hands-on learning experiences. She has designed and implemented interactive curricula and methodologies that bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications.
In addition to her teaching role at Asian Pacific Christian School, Inc., she is also the school nurse and designated academic coordinator and regularly conducts coaching for teachers on integrating technology and innovative methodologies in education and is an advocate for promoting STEM careers among underrepresented groups. As a research advocate, she has a deep interest in research, continuously motivating her students and fellow educators to take an active part in contributing to the advancement of knowledge through research.
