About International Benchmarking
International Benchmarking is a platform to bridge higher education institutions (HEIs) around the world through internationalization programs. The Institute organizes visit to its partner universities and invites member academic institutions to become part of the delegation. The main aim of the international benchmarking is to connect HEIs through sustainable partnerships in academic and non-academic activities.
Objectives:
International Benchmarking aims to
- partner with HEIs through Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and/or Memorandum of Agreement (MoA);
- promote collaborative internationalization programs;
- share institutional practices accross disciplines and programs;
- provide borderless educational opportunities for teachers and students;
- promote collaborative research programs and projects;
- enhance free and accessible knowledge sharing through sharing of best practices;
- foster collaboration among academic professionals around the globe; and
- develop camaraderie among fellows in the academic community.
The International Benchmarking is the platform for internationalization program. In order to provide sustainable partnership, the Institute develops international activities beneficial to HEIs. With its current MoU with the Universiti Teknologi MARA Pahang Branch, Malaysia's largest public university, the Institute takes pride in leading the internationalization programs such as student mobility and staff mobility, collaborative research and activity partnership.
How to join international benchmarking?
To join the international benchmarking, interested HEI needs to apply for membership. Only recognized HEI with active MOU with IIARI or recognized institutional member can take part in the program.
