Klyde is a fourth-year student taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English at Aklan State University – Banga Campus. With great honor, he was elected as the President of the highest student-governing body of Aklan State University, the Federation of University Student Councils where he also sits as the representative of the students as the Student Regent in the Board of Regents. In his academic journey, he was awarded with the distinction as Top 3 student in the Top Ten Outstanding Students of Aklan State University (TOSA) 2023. He was awarded as an AWARDEE in the 3rd International Luminary Awards 2023 and recently as Best Presenter, Best Presentation, and Outstanding Research awardee in the 1st International Student Research Congress (ISRC) 2024. Beyond the classroom, he is also actively contributing to the literary world as a Staff Writer and a former managing editor of Ro Sueo Publication, the official student publication of ASU-College of Teacher Education which offered him to showcase his prowess in writing and earning awards in annual college press conferences as Promising Writer during the PIA Region VI Journ Talk Series in News Writing Filipino.
