This study aimed to determine the lived experiences of teachers on the use of DepEd TV video-based lesson in science at Naisud National High School. This study utilized the qualitative research design. In this research study, the researcher adopted phenomenology to explore the participants' lived experiences during the face-to-face classes regarding the problems encountered, coping mechanisms, and perceptions of the learning modality in science. This study utilized six purposively selected participants with formulated interview guide for data collection. Based on the result of the study, the use of DepEd TV as video-based instruction was a great move to fully integrate ICT in teaching and learning process. It provides a different route and flavor to instruction since the learning is more authentic, tangible and engaging. Lessons using DepEd are more directed, organized and assisted because the video itself is designed to facilitate the learning of students. The utilization of video-based instruction has its challenges and problem but the only way to combat this is to have Plan B. It is still helpful to have activities that will replace the absence of the video if something happens. Continued professional growth should be strengthened in order to help other colleagues in using video-based instruction. LAC session, peer tutoring and many more are just some of the ways to help capacitate fellow teachers on the use of video-based instruction. Feedbacks and suggestion of student still matters for the improvement and enhancement of the teaching-learning process.
