Professional Background
Rachel Basco Cirilo is a Grade 11 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) student at Dee Hwa Liong Academy. As a HUMSS student, her strengths lie in subjects focused on language, philosophy, and politics. Her leadership journey in senior high school began as her class’s vice president and later progressed to class president, where she led her peers through various school events. In addition, she serves as the club secretary of the “Guild of English Scholars,” an organization officially recognized and awarded by Dee Hwa Liong Academy.
Despite her academic and leadership responsibilities, she has consistently maintained her place on the class honor roll. Throughout her Grade 11 journey, she has encountered and actively engaged with various social and political issues, contributing to their resolution. These experiences reflect her commitment to building a strong academic foundation and leadership background as she prepares for college and her aspiration to pursue a career in law.
