Theresse Emely Venus, currently in her fourth year at Mindoro State University Bongabong Campus, is pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Science within the College of Teacher Education. She took the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Strand at Fe Del Mundo National High School. Her research interests are in the fields of environmental science and materials science, where she aims to develop innovations that address sustainability challenges through scientific solutions. Specifically, she envisions creating eco-friendly alternatives using natural resources that can contribute to both environmental conservation and community development.

Jenevy P. Tumbagahan, currently in her fourth year at Mindoro State University Bongabong Campus, is pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Science within the College of Teacher Education. She took the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) Strand at Fe Del Mundo National High School. She dedicates herself to advancing society and environmental sustainability through scientific innovation. Her work focuses on utilizing natural materials to protect the environment while supporting community development. The author, Assoc Prof. Algeline S. Herrera is currently the Director for Research Ethics and Integrity Transfer, an Associate Professor V at Mindoro State University. She teaches major courses in the Bachelor of Secondary Education in Science (BSEd Science) at the College of Teacher Education. She finished her Master of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Santo Tomas. Her research interests are aquatic ecology, indigenous knowledge and practices, environmental science, and biodiversity studies.
