John Erick Acunin, Karen Glaze T. De Leon, and Rey Gabriel L. Lachica are undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Marketing Management, at the University of Camarines Norte. Their research, titled “Internship Learning Outcomes and Workplace Challenges Among Business and Public Administration Alumni: Evidence for Enhancing Work-Integrated Learning Programs,” examines the learning outcomes gained by alumni from their internship experiences and the workplace challenges they encountered after completing their academic programs.

The study focuses on how internship experiences contribute to the development of practical skills, professional competencies, workplace readiness, and career-related knowledge among Business and Public Administration alumni. It also identifies workplace challenges and explores how these experiences can provide insights for improving work-integrated learning programs.

The authors aim to provide useful evidence that can help academic institutions strengthen internship programs, better prepare students for workplace demands, and develop learning experiences that are responsive to the needs of students and future employers.
