Junie Rey C. Taer was born on June 08, 1992. He is a licensed Master Mariner and currently employed as Philippine Coast Guard Admin Officer, MCIS since April, 2022. He is pursuing Master in Maritime Administration at Asian Institute of Technology, Pasay City. He finished his Bachelor Degree at Saint Joseph Institute of Technology. He was the acting Deputy Commander, MCIS from December 2020 to April 2022; worked in the Philippine Coast Guard, CGOC from November 2019 to November 2020, and Second Mate and Chief Mate in Global Maritime Crew Management from November 2017 to April 2019.
