Marjohn Nave Esguerra is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English from Central Mindanao University. His academic interests include language education, educational technology, and innovative approaches to language learning. His research experiences have focused on the use of short-form educational videos and other digital tools in supporting language learning. His undergraduate research examined the experiences of English majors in using short-form videos for language learning and was presented in academic research events. He has also participated in classroom-based action research involving the use of short-form videos to support students’ speaking and vocabulary development. As part of his academic and research development, he has attended research conferences, colloquia, and professional learning activities related to education and research. These experiences have strengthened his interest in exploring practical and technology-supported approaches to language teaching. He hopes to contribute to the field of education through teaching, research, and continued professional development.
