Dr. Hamizah is currently a senior lecturer at the Centre for Civil Engineering Studies, College of Engineering, UiTM Cawangan Pahang, Malaysia. She is an expert in the field of environmental engineering and advanced materials. In fact, she received seven research grants in year 2021 and 2022 with grant amount RM 154,900.00. Currently, she is the leader for research grant entitled ‘Mechanistic and Kinetic Of Z-Scheme Charge Transfer Of Visible Light-Driven Wo3/G-C3n4 Polymeric Film For Photo-Removal Of Organic Uv Filters In Water’ funded by Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia from 01-09-2022 to 31-08-2024. She also contributes in publication as she manages to publish a total of 30 indexed and non-indexed journal/proceedings in various fields related to engineering, environmental, and education. She also involved as board of editor, reviewer, jury, and conference committee in national and international conference.
She obtained 6 copyrights of intellectual properties from the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia for her research products. Her products are also recognized in international innovation competition winning 4 gold medals, best of the best award, diamond award and special award. Recently, she received various award for grants, publication, copyright and innovation for her excellent contribution in 2021.
She is also active in teaching and learning innovation and act as project leader for development of Massive open online courses (MOOC) for civil engineering hydraulics course and won gold medal in International e-Content Development Competition 2022 organized by UiTM. For the year 2022, she had successfully registered a copy right for a research project entitle “The development of relationship of sediment transport against independent parameters under various simulated rainfall conditions” with IP number: IP/CR/03048. She was also involved in invention and innovation competition organized by various university organizers in Malaysia and successfully won gold award in Malaysia Technology Expo 2022 and special award form International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE).
She can bring inspiration to others with her confidence and encouragement in research, innovation and publication. Despite her position in university organization, she is also involved with community activities, charitable and collaborative works.
