This study explores the potential of computerization of emergency response within the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Aklan. It examines the underlying factors influencing employees' readiness to adapt to change, their demographic profiles, job roles, and other relevant elements. Respondents of the study are the employees of PDRRMO-Aklan. Using a descriptive research design, the study aims to assess how the computerization of emergency response can improve work performance and provide recommendations for enhancing governance and public service delivery. The PDRRMO of the Province of Aklan has historically reliant on manual processes for disaster management, which can be slow and prone to errors, the PDRRMO aims to transition to a computerized system to streamline operations, automatic critical function such as data collection, resource allocation, and communication. This system integrates real-time monitoring tools, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and data analytics, offering a more efficient approach to disaster response. It enables rapid data collection, identification of affected areas, and coordination of resources, which enhances overall response efforts. The computerized system will also improve tracking of emergency vehicles, personnel, and supplies, ensuring that resources are deployed efficiently. This shift is designed to improve decision-making, reduce response times, and strengthen disaster preparedness in Aklan. By providing up-to-date and accurate information, it empowers the PDRRMO to respond more effectively in times of crisis ultimately boosting community resilience and serving as role model for other provinces seeking to modernize their emergency response systems.
