The ongoing challenge of low organ donor registration rates is a global concern, prompting various efforts to increase registrations. However, despite these efforts, there remains a significant gap between registered donors and those awaiting organs. This research aims to explore the root causes of this issue and propose solutions to narrow this disparity by encouraging more individuals to pledge as organ donors. Drawing from a thorough review of existing literature, this study identifies several key factors contributing to individuals' reluctance to register as organ donors, including a lack of information dissemination. Additionally, it discusses effective strategies for increasing organ donor pledges, utilizing both modern and traditional media technologies to bridge the donor-demand gap. The insights gained from this research will be valuable for organizations involved in organ donation advocacy.
