This study aims to identify the innovation integrated in teaching during the transition of the educational system. Stratified random sampling is utilized in the study with descriptive quantitative research method. The sample comprised one hundred (100) participants from the selected private and public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Results reveal that students’ engagement and retention of information are crucial in motivating students to feel comfortable in the classroom and participate in the learning activities. Furthermore, the multiple learning styles and the accommodation to fit students’ approach encourage active learning in the delivery of effective teaching and learning. In addition, encouragement and collaboration through utilization of technology in teaching lead to progress and better process in the classroom setting. This study suggests that feedback for teachers is an efficient and timely method for the improvement of students’ meaningful and productive learning. This will allow them to focus on their role after graduation by applying the principles in their chosen career.
