Indonesia, as a tropical country, has a large diversity of plants, one of which is Moringa (Moringa oleifera L.) which is a plant commonly used in spices, cosmetic oils, and can be used for medicinal therapy. To get a thick extract, the extract is evaporated in a water bath at a temperature of 37oC until a thick extract is obtained. The thick extract obtained during the extraction process was 52.59 grams with a yield of 10.52%. The CTA2 produced from the synthesis process is a yellow oil liquid and amounts to 1.49 CTA2 instrument can be seen in Figure 1grams. The structure and spectra resulting from characterization using the 1H NMR.PAA synthesis is carried out by mixing Chain Transfer Agent (CTA2) as a RAFT agent and acrylic acid monomer in a certain ratio to obtain the desired BM, which is then initiated by AIBN into reactive free radicals so that the R group will be released and will be reinitiated by polymerized acrylic acid.
