Volume 5 Issue 1, July 2024

This study delves into the job satisfaction levels and underlying factors among employees, analyzing demographic profiles, job satisfaction extents, and influential factors. The respondents are employees of Social Security System of Panay Island. This study was conducted from July 2023 to December 2023 using descriptive research design. Assessment of job satisfaction indicates high satisfaction levels in meaningful work, career opportunities, and health and well-being. Factors affecting job satisfaction, such as workload dissatisfaction and ineffective management, are deemed serious. Statistical analysis reveals significant differences in job satisfaction levels and influential factors among respondents, rejecting the null hypotheses. Recommendations include continual professional development and career training programs. Similarly, work-life balance should be given more attention in the organization. Efforts should be made to provide flexible work schedules, promote work-life integration, implement policies that support employees in maintaining a healthy balance between their personal and professional lives, and address the factors contributing to workload dissatisfaction, ineffective management, and toxic workplace culture.
