This study aimed to assess the lived experiences of teachers on the opening of face to face classes. This study made use of one-on-one interview with the teachers showcasing their experiences from the preparation in the opening of face to face classes, the challenges they encountered, the coping mechanisms they employed and the intervention program they developed. Results revealed that during the preparation of face to face classes the teachers found it hard in the provision of teaching and learning resources of the school but because of their initiative and cooperation they made it all possible. When it comes to the challenges and difficulties they encountered, it focuses more on the learning behaviour of the learners and training and support from the Division Office. In order to address these challenges and difficulties, the study proposes an intervention program called “ALALAY” which aims to build linkages to stakeholders and benevolent donors to be the partner of the school in providing supplies and other resources of the school. There are proposed teacher-parent-stakeholders seminar workshops, which aims to help learners develop new strategies to focus with the lesson, find ways to meets learners and teachers need to the face to face classes and keep up positive relationships with fellow learners and teachers.
