This study was conducted to find out the students’ nutritional status and awareness as basis for inclusive nutrition program among the learners of Urquiola Memorial Elementary School SY 2023-2024. The research employs a mixed-methods approach to collect and analyze data, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. This approach enables a comprehensive understanding of students' nutritional status and awareness in immediate environment, school and social media. The participants of the study were malnourished learners from Grades 3 to Grade 6. The survey captures information on students' level of awareness on nutrition knowledge and their understanding of the importance of nutrition for overall well-being. Meanwhile, the interviews provide insights into students' perspectives on nutrition education and the level of awareness among teachers and parents. The findings of this study highlight the need for an inclusive education program that addresses the nutritional needs and awareness of all students. It reveals the awareness of students in immediate environment, school and social media. Furthermore, the research identifies the gaps in nutrition education and awareness, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts between educators, parents, and community stakeholders to promote healthy eating habits and overall well-being of learners. The outcomes of this study contribute to the development of evidence-based strategies and interventions that foster inclusive education, focusing specifically on improving students' nutritional status and awareness. The results facilitate the creation of sustainable programs that enhance access to nutritious meals, promote healthy lifestyles, and ultimately support the academic success and holistic development of all students.
