This study described the leadership praxis of college deans and campus directors in Romblon State University. A generic qualitative inquiry using in-depth interviewing served as the data gathering method. Deductive thematic analysis served as a method of analyzing data. Anchored on Nonaka and Toyama (2007) and Nonaka and Takeuchi (2011)' phronetic abilities, Subthemes generated include: judging goodness- democratic and participative leadership, ethical leadership and decision-making, leadership adaptability and resilience, strategic vision and impact, and individualized leadership and moral compass; creating shared context- principled and adaptive leadership, inclusive and collaborative decision-making, effective communication and conflict management, strategic resource and role management, engagement and empowerment of team members; grasping the essence- ethical and visionary leadership, participative and relational leadership, adaptability and resilience, strategic and operational excellence, cultivating a positive organizational culture, personal development and continuous learning, ethical frameworks and moral compass; communicating the essence- vision and mission integration, communication and collaborative culture, diversity and inclusion, adaptability and personalized leadership, decision-making and accountability, interpersonal and organizational dynamics, leadership development and stakeholder engagement; exercising political power- ethical leadership and integrity, empowerment and collaborative practices, adaptive leadership and political acumen, effective communication and conflict management, leadership personalization and cultural sensitivity; fostering practical wisdom in others- empowerment and capacity building, adaptive and strategic leadership, participatory decision-making and communication, ethical and values-based leadership, personal growth and leadership development, sustainability and long-term vision. Results implicate integrating ethical training, developing adaptive skills, fostering a participative culture, enhancing communication skills, investing in lifelong learning, empowerment initiatives, and sustainability and vision.
