Dr. Arjohn V. Gime graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Filipino at the Philippine Normal University-Manila where he focused on teacher-training programs in the National Center for Teacher Education at the Philippine Normal University. He previously taught as a grade school teacher at the St. Scholastica’s College-Manila and in a public elementary school in the same city. He previously worked as a grade school teacher and taught at the St. Scholastica’s College-Manila and in a public elementary school in Manila. He has been working as a professor both full-time and part-time in both undergraduate and graduate programs in prestigious universities in Manila, particularly at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, University of Santo Tomas, National University-Manila, Technological Institute of the Philippines, City Malabon University, De Le Salle Colleg of Saint Benilde, San Beda University-Manila, De La Salle University-Manila, and the Philippine Normal University-Manila. He was awarded as one of the Ten Inspiring Educators of the Philippines, Gawad Kabiasnan, Outstanding NPRE Officer. He is also a honorary member of the Lumina Foundation Inc.
