Rex Gonzales

Dr. Rex Gonzales is an accomplished educator and emerging scholar in the field of Social Sciences, currently serving as Instructor II at the University of Rizal System Antipolo Campus. He is presently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Social Science through distance learning at West Visayas State University (2024–present), after completing his Doctor of Education in Educational Management at San Pablo Colleges (2023–2024). He earned his Master of Arts in Teaching Social Studies from the University of Rizal System Antipolo and his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies at Saint Louis Marie de Montfort School (2014–2018), where he graduated Cum Laude and was recognized as an Outstanding Leader in a religious organization.

A scholar of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples and an academic scholar of the Clotilde L. Salvador Foundation, he has built a diverse teaching portfolio across basic and higher education. His professional experience includes teaching at Old Boso-Boso National High School under DepEd, serving as a college instructor at STI College Ortigas-Cainta, and handling academic engagements with institutions such as Bicol University, Philippine College of Criminology, National Business School College, and National University Manila. His academic journey and professional practice reflect a strong commitment to transformative education, civic engagement, and culturally responsive teaching.
