Dr. Smritikana Ghosh is a distinguished academic and practitioner in the field of Psychology, holding a Ph.D. in Psychology with advanced specialization in Psychotherapy and Counseling, focusing on Geriatric, Student, and Family Relationship Counseling. With five years of teaching experience, she currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU), Ranchi, Jharkhand. In addition to her university role, she is an Academic Counselor and approved Project Guide at IGNOU, Ranchi, where she actively mentors and supports distance learners.
Dr. Ghosh has established a strong scholarly presence both nationally and internationally. She is a member of the editorial boards of several prestigious international journals and has made substantial contributions to academic literature. She has authored eight books, contributed 20 chapters to edited volumes, and edited three books.
