Hiranya Dissanayake is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Accountancy, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, with over 12 years of teaching and research experience. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Management (Finance) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Her expertise lies in Corporate Governance, Sustainability, and Strategic Management Accounting. In addition to her academic role, Hiranya serves as an editor, reviewer, and referee for international journals and has contributed significantly to scholarly work. She also served as the Head of the Department of Accountancy for one year and holds an M.Sc. in Applied Finance and a B.Com (Special) Degree from the University of Colombo. Her research has earned her prestigious awards, including the CIMA Research Excellence Award (2022) and recognition at the National Pitching Research Competition (2021). Hiranya is highly regarded for her contributions to Corporate Governance, Sustainability, and Spirituality and is an expert in bibliometric analysis and research methodologies.
