Ma. Angelica Urriza is a pre-service teacher under the Secondary Education Major in English at the Laguna University. Her research certainly focuses on the development of vocabulary and reading comprehension through the use of book-based games. In addition, on her previous years as a student she already conducted a study interconnected with academic performance of the students and it is entitled as “capacity of parents in the new normal and the academic performance of selected students from grade 12 Magsaysay and Garcia. This study happened on the time of pandemic; therefore, all the process was conducted through online. She rarely participate with the school organization due to the reason that outside of her academic life, Ms. Urriza is also a working student who strives to finish her studies despite of the challenges she continuously encounter.
