I am Mikaella Ashley A. Rodrigo, born in 2003, is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics at Laguna University. My academic background includes studies in Humanities and Social Science at the university I am currently enrolled in, secondary education at SFINHS in Victoria, Laguna, and primary education at SAES in Pila, Laguna. I’ve received numerous academic awards and honors in my academic journey and now I’m grateful that I’m surviving and focusing more on skills and leadership. I have been involved in various academic and skills organizations in my high school years until now. With these involvements, my skills continually improve, specifically in leadership, communication, flexibility, and organizational skills. Also, I have participated actively in various conferences, seminars, training, and workshops related to education, leadership, skills, and awareness. These experiences help me develop different learnings, perspectives, and demonstrate the importance of lifelong learning and purpose. Recently, my research group and I presented our study at the ASREI Research Conference, which set a positive tone for this kind of experience and strengthened my skills in research, presentation, and collaboration. From being able to walk and curious about everything, I have been continuously committed to learning in every aspect of life. Make me a future educator who aims to inspire and empower students with compassion, humility, and excellence, not only in their lives but also around them, which reflects the essence of our department’s motto, character, and competence.
